Harrah’s Entertainment is changing the company’s name. From now on it’ll be called Caesars Entertainment Corporation.

This name, acquired in 2005, has been approved by the Board of the company’s Directors. A CEC member said that thanks to the new name, the company would obtain more success and attract more business partners, beside it’ll show the company’s evolution.

The evolution concerns the change into a full-service entertainment company which offers a lot of pleasantness to its guests. In spite of the fact that the name changed, the company will still use also Harrah’s as a primary name for the casino brand, but the CEC would represent better the company. The company always affirms how engaged it is to its employees and clients, because the customer service excellence have been characteristic for decades for Harrah’s.

That’s why they hope to get new opportunities with the new brand name. With the new name, the company acquired also 4 new members: Charles Atwood, vice chairman of Harrah’s, Jeanne Jackson, former CEO of Walmart.com, Lynn Swann former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver and Christopher Williams CEO of Williams Capital Group.
